A 35-year-old man is on the run after he beat his 2-year-old son and wife a domestic fallout that ended up leaving the child dead.
Detectives in Lopur, Turkana County have launched a man hunt for the man and according a report by the detectives, Eyanae Ekwom had fallen out with his wife over her intentions to take the 2-year-old son who was unwell to hospital.
Ekwom reportedly wanted the wife to stay at home and look after his goats instead, but the wife opted otherwise. This angered the man and he started caning and kicking them, leaving the child unconscious.
After realizing what he had done, the guy fled the scene leaving the two to the rescue of neighbors who rushed the child to hospital.
Upon reaching the hospital, the child was pronounced dead and the mother had sustained face and leg injuries in the incident that occurred on Tuesday.
