RUTO: Warns UDA candidates overuse of violence

“Any candidate that uses violence in UDA will be disqualified, violence must never be part of the equation in UDA,” said Ruto.

Deputy President William Ruto urged UDA aspirants that will use violence to suppress his/her competition will lead to automatic disqualification.

Ruto also said he is keen to ensure the stability of the youth party and also vowed that UDA will conduct free and fair party primaries exercises.

In his statement, while addressing his supporters in Kilifi County, he projected UDA as the party to win and party that transforms the affair of the common mwananchi.

UDA party leader stated that his competitors were obsessed with amending the constitution to suit them for self-preservation.

He also urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to lift the curfew as it hurts the economic affair of the nation.
