More than 45 students of Thurgem Secondary school in Kisumu have been injured after their school bus overturned at the Mamboleo area along the busy Kisumu – Kakamega road on Thursday, January 27.
According to reports, the injured students were rushed to nearby health facilities for medical attention.
The students are reported to have sustained different degrees of injuries.
As at the time of publishing this information, the exact cause of the accident had not been established.
Police have moved in to conduct preliminary investigations.
