Kirinyaga women representative purity Wangui Ngirici said that Anne waiguru joining UDA is not a guarantee that she will win the election. Ngirici further tells waiguru to develop roads that have been abandoned for a long time.
He also tell her to improve health facilities. She said, “The only thing which can save you (Waiguru) is ensuring that Kirinyaga people get proper health services and embark on rehabilitation of dilapidated roads in the county.”
Ngirici further tells waiguru to reinstate the sacked health workers. Ngirici said that if she was elected as the governor she could reinstate those health workers.
She said, “If I am elected governor, I will ensure all the sacked health workers are reinstated, and their salaries and allowances paid.” the health workers were sacked due to striking as they asked for their salaries and allowances which were not paid.
Ngirici speaks out as she eyes the governor seat in kirinyaga. Both ngirici and waiguru are in UDA and are both eying for this seat. The aspirants of gubernatorial seat include: PS kibicho, NARK KENYA party leader Martha Karua and current kirinyaga senator hon.kibiru among others.
