Nakuru: Man abducted, robbed by knife-wielding gang in Gilgil, Detectives Say

Police line, do not cross/ courtesy

Detectives based in Nakuru have warned members of the public of a criminal gang operating around Gilgil.

The gang is reportedly operating using a white Toyota Noah. This was established on Sunday morning after a man was shoved into the car from the roadside as he was waiting for a matatu.

According to a report by the DCI, the man was blindfolded before being bundled into the car by the gang who threatened him using knives. They robbed him of cash, ATM cards and shopping in his possession.

Reports indicate that the man was later thrown out of the car and dumped at Kariandusi, where he was found by passers-by.

Police now urge members of the public to be aware of the gang and report to the nearest police station should they notice the suspicious Toyota Noah. The car is reportedly using different registration plates in every crime.
