Nakuru county Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives has urged members of the public to be watchful of a criminal gang operating around Gilgil in a white Toyota Noah.
On their tweet seen by trendstv.co.ke, stated, this comes after a Saturday morning incident in Gilgil where a man was jostled into the car from the roadside where he was waiting for a matatu.
As reported by DCI, the man was bundled up and blindfolded by the knife-wielding gang before being robbed of cash, ATM cards, and shopping.
The man was later thrown out of the car and dumped at Kariandusi, where he was found by passers-by.
It is believed that the white Toyota Noah being used by the criminals has been using different registration plates.
DCI is now urging members of the public to be aware of the gang and report to the nearest police station should they have any information about its operations.
