Michelle Ntalami Comes Clean on her Relationship with Makena Njeri

Marini Natural’s co-founder and CEO Michelle Ntalami today came clean on her relationship with the founder to The Bold Network Kenya -Makena Njeri. In a three part series she put up on her social media platforms, the lass acknowledged that the two were an item despite the LGBTQ being sort of a taboo in Kenya.

The two had never publicly declared their love for each other but netizens joined the dots and earlier this year when the two seemingly separated, speculations arose concerning their relationship and true to it, they had fallen apart.

Michelle accused Makena of serial infidelity with multiple partners including a public figure, and a less known married woman. Admitting that this ordeal really hurt her to core, she had opted to keep mum about but pain got over her and decided to address the issue that had got gotten blogs, friends and the media at large question their relationship.

Michelle further reveals that had Makena owned up to her mistakes and apologized they would have been at a better place, but since she kept denying the allegations since early this year, she was left with no option but speak her truth. And that she feels extremely used and hopes that she will gradually be able to forgive the heartless treatment she got from someone she loved.

She wrote; “I feel extremely used. I am currently coming to terms with all of this. It has been a tough journey this year, but I am learning to let go of the hurt, move on and simply, adjust back my crown. Forgiveness is an emotion you arrive at, not decide to. My heart is big, I will get there.”

Makena and Mitchelle were among the first queer couple in Kenya to come out boldly to live their truth. Public display of affection was order of the day for the couple which really inspired the LGBTQ family. It is in this same spirit that in her part three of telling her truth series she thanked everyone who supported them and for the constant love they showed them throughout their dating period.

She also took time to encourage anyone going through such a phase in life that it is not easy and they should not be afraid of talking about it and advised them to stay around people who will help them heal from the trauma that comes from betrayal.

One thing that stood out however, was the fact that she signed out by saying that she loved her deeply, truly and wholly and wishes her love despite the betrayal.
