Churchill show comedian Mc Jessy has declared that he shall vie for Imenti south parliamentary seat.
Jessy want to take over from kathuri Murungi who is in his second term. Jessy said that during the weekend he was blessed by elders from the region. He said, “Over the weekend, I was grateful and humbled by the elders who raised me when they honoured and bestowed on me the blessings and responsibilities to lead South Imenti constituency as the Member of Parliament.”
Jessy said that he was ready to lead the area as their member of parliament. He said that, “The mantle has been passed and each generation must safeguard it and extend it further.”
Jessy will now be expected to take over from the current MP, Kathuri Murungi. Kathuri has served the area from 2013.
