Man Arrested Over Vandalization of Safaricom Telecommunication Equipment Worth Ksh 2 Million

A man in Murang’a was arrested over the vandalization of Safaricom telecommunication equipment worth over Ksh 2 million.

Leny Ng’ang’a gained access to a Safaricom transmitter station after pretending to security guards that is working with Safaricom and he is a Safaricom engineer. 

Station guards suspected his moves and activities and decided to alert the police, but the suspect escaped and drove away using his vehicle.

In to hot chase with the police vehicle, the suspect drove towards Saba Saba but the police Land cruiser caught up with the suspect vehicle a few kilometers past  Saba Saba. 

The suspect was forced to surrender and recovered with him telecommunication equipment suspected to have been stolen somewhere else.
