On Wednesday 17th November 2021, minister of health Mutahi kagwe announced that 80 patients had recovered. 44 of these patients were from home based care while the other 36 were from different hospital across the country.
The total recoveries now stand at 247,791 of whom 200,140 are from the Home-Based Care while 47,651 are from different hospitals across the country.
The minister further stated that 69 people had tested positive from 5,345 samples tested in the past 24hrs. This brings the total confirmed positive cases to 254,453 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 2,780,991.
This brings the positivity rate to 1.3%. Of the 69 patients 66 were Kenyans while 3 were foreigners. 37 were males while 32 were females.
The youngest patient was one year old and the oldest was 99 years old. The distribution of patient across country is as follows:

He added that three patients have succumbed to the disease, pushing the cumulative fatalities to 5,325.
A total of 362 patients are currently admitted to various health facilities countrywide, while 1,013 are under the Home based care.
