The high court judge Hedwig Ong’undi has decline to lift the red alert that was issued to miguna miguna preventing him to travel to Kenya. Judge Hedwig said that there is no evidence to proof that miguna has been stopped from returning to Kenya. The judge said, “There is no evidence to prove the alerts exist. This court cannot rule on speculation to grant the orders he is seeking. Case dismissed.”
He further said, “Court being a Court of law expected him to adduce evidence to prove existence of the red alerts.”
Miguna says that the alert has prevented Lufthansa and air France airline to allow him board their plane to Kenya on 19th November 2021. He said, “It is lawful and just that the red alerts issued by the Attorney General and Fred Matiang’i to the two airlines or any other airline be lifted to enable me travel to Kenya.”
Miguna is expected to land in Kenya on Tuesday of 16th November 2021 at 9am. Miguna has booked a ticket from Canada via Germany and France and finally to Kenya. Miguna is expect to arrive in company of Willy Mutunga and Nelson Havi. Mutunga announced in October that he would go to Toronto to accompany miguna in his journey back.
Miguna was excited by mutunga decision and he said, “We need more patriots to accompany CJ Emeritus: My bag is already parked. Let freedom ring. Viva!”
Miguna miguna has citizenship for both Kenya and Canada. He was deported in 2018 after swearing-in Raila odinga as the people’s president on 30th January 2018.
